The Young EFSUMB Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to STUC 2026 – The Student Ultrasound Congress, which will take place on June 10–11, 2026, at the Medical Simulation Center in Lublin, Poland.

Organized as part of Euroson 2026 – The European Ultrasound Congress, STUC 2026 is an international event dedicated to medical students with an interest in ultrasound education and practice.
The two-day program will feature:
- Lectures delivered by leading experts in medical ultrasound
- Hands-on workshops utilizing modern ultrasound technology
- Clinical case presentations highlighting diagnostic applications (abstract submissions)
- Interactive competitions offering valuable learning opportunities and awards
STUC 2026 provides a unique platform for participants to deepen their knowledge, enhance their practical skills, and engage with a community of peers and mentors from across Europe. The event is designed to accommodate both beginners and those with prior experience in ultrasound.

PROGRAMME
Abstract Submission Opens: December 1st 2025
ABSTRACT GUIDELINES
STUC 2026 accepts only case reports.
Student Oral Presentation (for eligible student submissions)
Each abstract is evaluated based on clarity, scientific merit, originality, and its contribution to the conference objectives.
Submission Guidelines:
1. Language - all abstracts must be submitted in English.
2. Abstract Structure
Abstracts must follow this structured format:
- Introduction
- Case presentation
- Conclusion
- Key Words (up to 5)
Abstracts should be fully placed in the "Results" section of the abstract submission form.
3. Word Limit
The abstract body is limited to 300 words (excluding title, authors, affiliations, and keywords).
4. The same abstract cannot be submitted more than once.
5. Corrections
Corrections to a submitted abstract may be possible until the submission deadline. Please review your abstract carefully before final submission.
6. Instructions for submitting a Student Case Report abstract

Abstracts must comply with the abstract guidelines provided below.
For case reports, please use the following structure:
- Introduction – briefly introduce the background and relevance of the case
- Methods – use this section to describe the Case Presentation (patient information, clinical course, diagnostics, treatment, and outcome)
- Results – summarize the key findings or observations from the case
- Conclusions – present the main lessons or clinical implications of the case.
Ensure the abstract clearly reflects a case report format, even though the form contains standard research headings
7. Submission Timeline:
Abstract Submission Opens: December 1st 2025
Submission Deadline: March 31st 2026.
Notification of Acceptance/Rejection: Early April 2026
